SHOEI J-Force III Ultimate Open Face Helmet : DigInfo

DigInfo - movie.diginfo.tv The SHOEI J-Force III helmet was designed with a more enhanced aerodynamic form while maintaining the design aspects and compactness of the J-FORCE series. A perfectly flowing form was achieved by combining the newly designed shell with each of the parts. Of the new helmet's various features, the Aero Edge Spoiler has a particularly strong impact. The streamlined spoiler, which inherits the DNA of SHOEI's top racing model, gives the J-FORCE III a rich curved line and provides a strong air rectifying effect. As a result, the aerodynamics of the J-FORCE III are dramatically improved, and lift and drag which are felt when riding at high speeds with conventional open face helmets, are dramatically reduced. Equipped with the vortex ventilation system which uses a negative pressure effect to create a high level of exhaust efficiency during riding, improving it by 20%. The shell is designed with SHOEI's unique AIM structure, which is a rigid, lightweight shell structure created through composite layering of glass fibers and 3D processed organic fibers. The new helmet is available in 6 sizes from XS to XXL and comes in 7 colors. The base price is 42000 yen.

Motorcycle Helmets, The Safest Types For Any Rider

A motorcycle helmet is a necessity for any one on a bike. Not only do they make you look cooler, especially when you match cool ride, but they provide the utmost safety on every drive, not just in the event of a collision. They keep the sun blocked, the bugs away, and if it's cold, the heat in. There are several kinds of motorcycle helmets, some are safer than others, and most of them vary in size and appearance. Beginning with the safest, here are the main types of motorcycle helmets.

A full face helmet covers the entire head of the rider. The rear of the helmet completely covers the skill and there is also a protective section in the front to protect the chin. Most fill face helmets are made with vents to increase the airflow inside the helmet. Some critics lack interest in the full face helmets due to their increased heat and isolation, the lack of wind, and the idea that such helmets reduce the ability to hear. However, these are very popular and known for their protectiveness by all motorcycle enthusiasts. 35% of all motorcycle crashes show major impact or injury to the chin-bar region. Based on that fact alone, a full face helmet is the safest of all motorcycle helmets.

An off-road helmet is also known as a "motocross" helmet. With proper goggles used in sync with an off-road helmet enables the same amount of safety as a full face helmet. The difference is that an off-road helmet has an elongated chin and visor portion. The face is also partially opened to allow more air flow and more protection from the sun when worn with goggles of some kind. Modern off road helmets usually include an angular chin bar rather than a round one. This along with the face mask helps to fend off the dirt and debris that could enter the nose or mouth during riding.

An open face helmet is also known as a "three-quarters" helmet. The rear does indeed cover the back of the skill but it lacks the lower chin bar and they do not necessarily include a face shield. However, most of them come with a visor selection that can be adjusted to reduce the glare of the sun. An open face helmet offers the same protection as a full-face helmet but it does little to protect the face. Because of this fact it is not uncommon for it to be required to wear some type of wrap-around sunglasses in conjunction with an open face helmet.

The other types of helmets include a modular or "flip-up" helmet and the half face helmet. The other type of headwear bikers might wear include "beanies," "brain buckets" or "novelty helmets." However these are used as an illusion of compliance with the law but are not certified or DOT approved by any means. They protect the scalp against abrasion maybe, but they have never protected the skull or brain from impact. It is important that if you ride a bike, get a reliable motorcycle helmet, preferably one of the top three mentioned.

Choosing Your Next Motorbike Helmet

If you are looking to buy a new motorbike helmet there will be a few things that you will need to consider before you fork out any money. Unless you have been living underneath a rock, you will know that there are literally hundreds of different motorbike helmets on the market. If you are on the hunt for a new one then this can be good news for you or it can completely confuse you. So we have gone and written this little guide to help you choose your next helmet. So lets get cracking!

The first thing you need to consider before looking at any helmet range is whether they are DOT approved helmets or not. DOT approved helmets are helmets that are built to Department of Transport standards. These helmets will offer more protection than non DOT helmets and novelty helmets that can be found online nowadays. So if you are going to get yourself a new motorbike helmet we want it to protect your head as much as possible. So the first tick box that needs to be checked is whether it is a DOT approved or not.

The next think you ought to think of is what style helmet you would like to get yourself, since each type has its own advantages and disadvantages. Long gone are the days of limited helmet styles and poor selection. Nowadays we have half helmets, full face helmets, motocross helmets, ¾ helmets and modular helmets to name just the most popular. If you are looking for a stylish helmet that will allow you to feel the wind in your face but provide you with some protection then a half helmet might be the choice for you. Full face helmets provide the greatest amount of protection in all the ranges and as the name implies they cover your full face. If you want a half way house between a half helmet and a full face helmet then you may be looking at a ¾ helmet since these are open at the front but provide all round protection for the rest of your head. So remember to do your research on the style of your helmet before you choose one!

The third thing that you will need to look at in a helmet is what accessories does the it have? Is the it vented so that air can flow through it or is it unvented? Vented helmets will be cooler and more comfortable to ride in, especially during hot weather. Does the it allow you to replace the visor? Visors can easily be scratched or damaged and helmets that allow you to replace them will make it really easy to keep you helmet in top notch. So keep an eye out on the accessories that it has!

The final thing that I tend to look at is the color or pattern. I consider myself to be pretty fashionable and I like my helmets to have some style to it. So are you going to choose a single color helmet or one with a range of colors. You may be interested in helmets with airbrushed designs or in a matte or gloss finish. You will be surprised at the range of designs that are available if you look hard enough.

Whether you are buying a replacement helmet or a new helmet for your latest riding adventure, you should consider the four points which I have highlighted when choosing your next helmet. Doing so will ensure that you get the best that money can get you. Happy riding!

Building a Horse Barn in Tough Economic Times

The state of the current national economy has really put a crimp on people who had planned to build a horse barn this year. Many banks are not lending at this time, which is forcing people to look for alternative methods to build their barns as economically as possible.

Many folks have sent me some photos of how they were able to construct their horse barns using alternative methods and materials and these structures have turned out very well.

One method a lady sent me photos of was she purchased several large steel-roofed carports and assembling the horse stalls inside of the structures using the carports as the roof and support frame. She then enclosed the sides and the back of the structures using the wooden walls of the horse stalls. This method she estimated saved her over $8000.00 compared to the cost of a conventional pole barn style of structure.

Another method some people are using is purchasing a fabric-covered structure marketed by several companies and installing modular horse stalls inside of these. By using pre-fabricated or modular horse stalls, these do not require the use of support posts and can be moved when needed if a more permanent structure is built in the future. Support post construction horse stalls can be built as well, but doing that method does make the stalls fairly permanent and would involve a lot of labor to tear down eventually.

I have become a fan of the fabric-covered structure method as I have personally owned 2 of these in the past 25 years and they holdup extremely well in the weather conditions we experience here in Ohio. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, as I was concerned about how a structure like that would hold up in heavy wind and snow, but was very impressed after the first few seasons of use.

Building a barn in hard times like we are experiencing now just takes a bit of innovation and thinking outside of the box. If you have built a horse barn using other alternative methods, feel free to drop me a note.
