www.youtube.com presents virtualDub, a free video stabilizing software. Great for shaky videos such as sports, motorcycle or bicycling ride videos, and even stabilizing those shaky UFO videos. Also needed is the add-on tool called "Deshaker", which runs inside virtualDub. I searched the internet high and wide to find this solution for my motorcycle videos because my Canon PowerShot A560 does not have image stabilization and I don't want to buy a new camera at this time. Using virtualDub does take time. Total of 3 passes required to process video. A 3 minute shaky video will take approx 10-30 minutes to complete the process, depending on what settings you choose.
