ContourHD Helmet Camera Waterproof Case Review

t.co While I was making a video about the river I decided to review this waterproof case for my ContourHD helmet camera. The Contour 3300 waterproof case. I believe it fits every model of Contour helmet camera except for the GPS, but double check before you buy. It's a cool case I like the mounting rail on it better than the rail on the actual camera. It allows you to lock the camera on the mount, rather than just hope it doesn't slide off. With the camera inside the case you can still get to the power button and there is a slider on the top to start and stop recording. I did take the camera underwater for a bit, and record. I also floated down the river with it and talked for a bit. The case did it's job well, kept the water out and even floats if you drop it. The camera however didn't do well. I came home with some corrupt files and was missing a lot of footage I would have liked to use in the review. I have had a lot of bad luck with with this Contour camera, it is an older 720p model. I hope to upgrade soon to a GoPro. So yeah the camera sucks, but the waterproof case passed my test.
